This is gonna sound weird or stupid

So I haven't been getting periods or regular ones for a while due to depo but recently I just stopped getting the shot so last month for the first time I got my period. It was from the 24-28 so this month I didn't get it til the 28... I had sex a day before the 28 and had used my toy a few times that week leading up to my period date. I'm 20 and know most things about the human body but still... I'm curious is my late period due too using my sex toy and had sex? Because if so I didn't know that could happen. Does it happen to anyone else?
