OK, so I am on baby #3, and it will be my second girl. So I have a lot. We already bought a new carseat, and a rock n play specifically for this one. I have lots of girl clothes left over. Plus a swing, bouncy seat, bumbo etc. Well my mil said she wants to buy a big ticket item for this baby. Um... The only thing I don't have is a jogging stroller (which I kinda want) however I would need a double to accommodate my 2yr old too...

Should I even mention this or do you think it's too much to ask for? I mean we are talking $400+ and for them money is tight. I honestly wasn't expecting anything big from them (just clothes probably), but she mentioned wanting to get a big item for this one. I am torn. I don't want to seem greedy. But it's the only thing I don't already have that is a big ticket item.

tell her about it and say it's quite expensive so even if she wants to go half on it with you?

I would give her two options... Maybe say a gift cards towards a stroller?

Chances are she wasn't thinking that much of a big ticket item so if it was me i wouldn't want to ask out right for your stroller however a store voucher towards would be a great option :) and very helpful.

I would absolutely let her know but also tell her she doesn't have to! I needed a double stroller for my twins. I didn't register for it because I figured nobody would buy it because it's so expensive, and at my baby shower I ended up getting two!
