Nexplanon And Pumping?

So my husband and I were talking about which BC option to use and we both decided to give the implant that would go in my arm a chance. However we have a micro preemie and it is essential that I pump to give her the best nutrition she can get. My OBGYN says it's safe but he didn't say if it would dry me up and I guess that's my question. And also how's the sex drive on it and is insertion all that bad?
