My dad repeatedly calls me a sex object..
My dad has always told me; "don't get close to guys" or "no point in having guy friends" because he said they only want one thing, and that is sex.
He said that's how it is, and it'll never change..
He continuously speaks about me being 'just a sex' object to men, and to society. (One of the reasons dad Mostly complains about how I dress)
I'm 16 by the way.
I have a boyfriend, and he is seriously the sweetest thing; he's a gentleman, and very compatible (and compromises a lot)
We haven't had a fight yet (of course we've had disagreements or whatever but it's never escalated to yelling and someone wanting to break up), maybe because we're only into 6 months.
But my dad says "it's unhealthy and you will get bored of him.."
It's really getting to me.
I'm beginning to believe the words he is putting into my head. I'm afraid if I ever were to have sex with my boyfriend in the mere future he'd end up using me as a sex object..
He's very sweet and caring; and everytime we have oral sex, he repeatedly asks me "are you sure" "are you ok with this".
I have a suspious feeling that my dad tells me these things because this is how he views women..
Idk, please give me some advice..
