Parental Values

I'm in the process of moving out with my bf of 7 years and my parents keep holding me to their values. I feel so bad because my mom says she thinks she has failed as a parent simply because we are moving out before marriage. I tried to remind her that she shouldn't think that way, but I think she still does. How have you all dealt with this? How did your parents eventually see if theh did or not?
