Delayed birth announcement

Hello December mommies!  I know most of the birth announcements have come and gone but I figured I should have a turn, delayed as it may be. It took a while because we had an extensive stay in the NICU.  My son was born with a rare genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome.  It has been very difficult, but we are learning to cope and finding our new normal.  I am sad that he must go through so much medically to be my greatest blessing.  Please pray that someday there is a cure for this condition.  He is a happy baby and brings us so much joy already.  Evan James, born 12/18/15, 7lb 8oz, 21in - we were team green and thrilled to have a sweet little boy!
