In pain from Cracked / popped ribs

I have been sick for the past week and a half. It started off with a severe throat, runny nose, and mucus cough among other things. I am now left with a horrible cough. Well last night while coughing I heard a pop in my upper ribs on my left hand side. It was such horrible pain. I coughed later that night and my ribs cracked like you would when you crack your nuckles. I have been in horrible pain since on that side of my ribs.  I am 35 weeks pregnant and am worried that I will be in labor with cracked ribs that are not fully healed. Has anyone experienced this? Please tell me what I should expect. I am worried about the pain.
