I'm 16 years old virgin and a junior in high school. I know a lot about sex because the topic interests me so I do plenty of research. I feel completely comfortable talking to my boyfriend about sex and everything else. We have spoken to each other plenty and believe that we would be ready. I want to be on the pill before I do it but my mother says for me wait longer since I've only been dating the guy for 2 months. I personally don't feel like it's rushing because I'm comfortable and I'm not doing it for anyone else's pleasure but I can understand her opinion. What are some benefits for waiting to have sex?
