I like to haul half the house with me when I go out with a baby (and toddler). My kid needed stuff to do when we were out to dinner, for example, so I always had "diaper bag toys" that were only used when we were out. A large purse would work, but I prefer to keep my stuff separate and easier to access. Personal preference wins!

With my first I used a diaper bag mainly for first 6 mo and later when I didn't need so much I just used my purse. Now I'm on number 3 and plan to just use the purse I was using as a diaper bag from my second. I feel bad as my twin sister spent a lot of time making me a big diaper bag for my second and I literally never used it except when traveling longer distances

I bought a large purse from Walmart for $40 CA, and it works better than half the diaper bags I've seen out there, and cost me half of what you would pay for 😊 If you find a large purse that works for less, do it! Not to mention, you'll be a styling mom 😏
