ER visit and hCG levels dropping!!??

Question

I went to the ER on Friday night because I had some minor bleeding (mostly brown, a tiny bit of pink, only when I wiped).

They took my hCG levels and they were a little over 82,000 (I was 11w 6d).

I had a pelvic exam and everything looked right (my cervix was closed).

They wanted me to follow up on Monday and get my beta hCG levels checked to make sure they were either staying the same or rising.

They called me this morning with the results and my hCG was a little over 62,000 (20,000 lower than they were on Friday night).

So, they scheduled me for an ultrasound tomorrow at 12:45 (I will be 12w and 4d).

WAITING. HOPING. PRAYING.

What do you ladies think? Have any of you had similar experiences?

Everything looked perfect!! Heartbeat was 169 and look at that adorable fat little tummy!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ God is good!!

Hcg levels naturally drop at 12 weeks mine were 75,000 at 12 weeks the. St 13 weeks they went down to 40,000

HCG decreases sharply at the end ofthe  first trimester. That's why your nausea and other first tri symptoms go away! It has something to do with the placenta taking over to nourish baby. Sounds normal to me! Hope everything turns out well :)

I think it's great that it was only a small amount of blood-and old blood at that-and the fact that your pelvic exam showed a closed cervix. This is great news. Try to be positive for your ultrasound! I bet things are just fine!
(I'm an emerge nurse and see this all the time!)

I was told hcg levels could drop as you progress in your pregnancy. Praying for you. Please keep us posted.

This happened to me recently. Levels went from 60000 at 10w 5d to 50800 at 12w1d. Baby was fine. Sometimes it happens, just get checked and relax. Stressing doesn't do anything for you and baby. You'll be fine momma, put your feet up :)

Mine were at 101,000 at 8 weeks and when they came back yesterday they were 27,000. My ob said once you're past like 12 weeks you don't go by hcg anymore. It's normal for them to drop. She said if you've seen your baby and heard the heartbeat everything is good.
