C section or natural

Have a tough decision to make with my first baby he was 2 weeks late head got stuck had forceps delivery which he is scarred for life n nearly was his eye n was born with hyperglycaemia and hyperthermia, always said with second I'd op for c section but find myself asking is it best choice? Very nervous about the op does it hurt is it wise design ect ect
