Trying to wait

Ugh so according to glow today I am in my 40th day of my cycle my period was due last week Wednesday and as of right now I still haven't got it  I don't know what to think I have had it come a week late but at the same time I want to test but am scared it will say no and then I'll be sad I'm kind of like sitting here going on with life acting like my period isn't late idk
