Before your missed period, most tests have like a 50% accuracy. It's after your missed period that the test is 99.9% accurate. If you want to test before your missed period that's totally up to you, but you could basically flip a coin and have the same accuracy so i don't personally advise it.

I know many test before. I'm of the mind to wait until AF is late since early HPTs are not as accurate so false negatives/positives are always a risk.

I only test one day before af is supposed to arrive. That's even if I do test. It's a waste of money if you can just hold off you will get a more accurate result or not even need to test if af shows her ugly face. Good luck!
