Almost 2 week long period....
Hello! I had a chemical pregnancy in November and another in December so I haven't had a normal period since September. I started bleeding and cramping (like a normal period) on Saturday (2/27) and there were quite a few clots, which I read is normal. I had a normal period through the following Thursday and Friday and then I had light spotting of dark brown blood, which again is normal for the end of my period. But Monday the spotting got a little heavier and then yesterday was a full blown period again complete with cramps and normal first or second day period bleeding. I had some clots too. I'm just concerned because it will be two weeks this coming Saturday and I have a scheduled OB/GYN appointment on Friday morning. I am glad I have the appointment because we will be able to discuss this long "period" but I can't get a Pap Smear since I am due for one, can I? Any one else have experience with awful periods after a miscarriage? Am I freaking out over nothing? I know I'll get through it and it will be ok but I have been waiting to TTC again since Christmas without a period and we're ready to try again.... My doctor feels that he knows the reasons behind the mc's and feels like the next one should be succussful because I will be taking progesterone with it and I'm still young but I'm just getting anxious I suppose.
