Newborn or 3months clothing?

So I'm on a little bit of a baby buying spree at kohls as they have some awesome discounts today cuz of my kohls card! They have these super cute little baby rompers in all colors and patterns and I want to buy a few! Baby is due in August, I'm in Ca, should I buy these little rompers at new born size or size 3 months, baring in mind at 3 months it should already be November by then and not appropriate for those clothes. However sizing chart save newborn is good for babies 5-8ibs and up to 21' inches where as 3 months is for baby's 5-8 Ibs and up to 25 inches! I'm a new mom so honestly I have no idea lol

With my first I was told not to even buy newborn clothes..... But then my daughter was born only 6# and the 3 month clothes we bought were huge! So the day we got home, we had to go buy newborn sizes. Which she did where until about 3 months. This time i am going to buy some. Just in case.... Even if I have a bigger baby this time around, you never know.

I've always been told not to buy to many newborn or 0-3 month clothes because they grow so fast! I've only bought 2 newborn outfits and 1 0-3mon. My family is all buying for 6 months or older. I know it's so hard because the newborn are so tiny and cute.

Mine never wore NB either...went straight to 3 months and size 1 diapers! I would say 3 months just in case...it can always be a little bigger and not be a big deal and will be able to wear it longer..but that's just my opinion!

I say newborns, but keep the receipts. My daughter was in newborn clothes for almost three months.
