Appointment and Medicaid

Hi I was approved for Medicaid and was just waiting on my mother to fax over information which she did yesterday. I called to make an appointment with an obgyn and their next appointment they could squeeze me in is tomorrow. Would I be okay even though I don't have any paperwork that goes with Medicaid like a card or what not sorry I've never done this before :/
