UTI and emotions

So I had sex and after I noticed the symptoms of a UTI. I went to the doctor and he said it was bad (I waited a few days before going and it got worse) got antibiotics. I'm still feeling the symptoms a little and Ive found that I'm extremely emotional and just cried for no reason. Has anyone else reacted this way on it? My period doesn't start until 10 days. And we only had sex about a week ago
