Sex with and episiotomy??

If you had an episiotomy and only waited 4week and a half weeks to have sex and you have no bleeding and feel great and now after having sex you feel some pain down there and you feel like you might have ripped could you have ripped or is it just the skin and scare tissue stretching??

I had an episiotomy and stopped bleeding at 5 weeks. So we had sex. And it hurt and I went to the ob a week later and he touched me "gently" but I instantly burst into tears. I had an infection, bv, and it took me another 2 months to completely heal again. So not worth it. That was my first pregnancy in 2013. This pregnancy me and my SO know we can not have sex until my 6 week check up and I get the okay from my doctor.

There's a good reason they tell you to wait until after your 6 week appointment. You risk tearing and infection.

You could have ripped. I did and I had to wait longer to heal AGAIN because I didn't wait. Not to mention it hurt even more and I put myself at risk for infection.

I didn't have sex till 4-5 months pp. And I still had discomfort

I didn't have an episiotomy I had a tear but I think it's just stretching cuz I'm 5 weeks pp today and my bf and I just started having sex again and it'll feel good and then the next time it hurts a bit because I think it's stretching again
