Period confusion

So yesterday I was suppose to start my period. Early evening I used the rest room and the was a little bit of pink when I wiped. Later that evening I wiped and it was a little bitter brighter red. I woke up this morning and there is nothing. My period has been consistent for several months so to have very very little yesterday and nothing today kinda worries me. Has anyone else experienced this?
