Alcohol at Wedding

Fiance's side of the family doesn't drink and a few members believe it is wrong (religious reasons). It's important for us to respect them but also to have a little something on our big day. Any ideas for a compromise? Or anyone who has been in that position? What have been the negatives and positives of serving alcohol at the wedding. We thought about having a make-your-own champagne bar and non-alcoholic drinks. Any advice would be appreciated!
