Infant car seats

I'm noticing gracco and Chico infant car seats seem to be the most popular, and then both have some different click in systems to work with a stroller until baby is big enough to be in the stroller w out the car seat. The chicco ones look like they run regularly $50-$100 more for similar car seats then the strollers are also more expensive than the gracco. Is it worth the difference?
