It could be either mine got pretty dark at one point ( like one bathroom visit) even passed a small clot but I turned out to be pregnant I even tested before hand and still pregnant

I'm the same I've had very sore nipples for two days now and having cramps in my lower abdomen and I also have an underactive thyroid too
