Do you feel jealous?

Question

Hi! I struggled with infertility for 5 years. Tried all sorts of things and ended up with ivf, that resulted in pregnancy.  
Now when I hear of other people getting pregnant on their own or by fluke when they didn't want to... though I feel happy for them but some part of me feels.. its so easy for some and we have to struggle to get pregnant. 
Does anyone else feel this?

I've felt that way for a long time. I had my first miscarriage 7 years ago. I can get pregnant no problem, keeping the pregnancy going is what the problem is. Praying this time it sticks! Best wishes to you!

YES!!!  Everyone I know became pregnant within 1-2 months of stopping birth control. I feel sad that we spent thousands on ivf, the injections, meds, testing. Most women have NO IDEA how painful & lonely it is to go through all this. Now just praying the little bean sticks!!!

I don't feel jealous. I just don't want to hear them complain that trying for two or three months was such a long time to wait, or that they think their experts on ttc because they don't understand that several factors take place in ttc

Oh for sure! It took six years, tens of thousands of dollars, millions of tears, and finally a round of IVF worked. While I'm always happy for people who are expecting, the jealousy for those who were able to so easily is real. My best friend got pregnant a week after going off the pill! That shouldn't even be physically possible!!! Luckily, since she's my bestie we could be really honest. I was supportive and threw her baby shower and love her daughter to pieces, but I still tell her I'm jealous of what a Fertile Myrtle she is. It's normal I think. I just try to recognize my feelings, accept them, let them go and move on.

I did and it was ruining my life.  I finally got off of Facebook over a year ago and it was the best decision for me since I would obsess over how easy everyone got pregnant or see baby pics.  If anything,  infertility has taught me to be more conscientious of others feelings.

I do. Some people do abortion as they don't want to have babies, some people take their babies to orphanages..... and we have to struggle so hard to have babies. It just feels unfair. My first IVF cycle ended in miscarriage. And now I'm on the second one.

I'm on both sides,  I got pregnant with my daughter when I 14 by accident.   Then after I finished college had a good career & married to the man of my dreams I could not conceive.  It took me 6 years total & a misscarriage & im now 14 weeks pregnant.  I've quit trying to figure it out.  I think God makes it happen when it's suppose to.

A friend called me last week and told me she's pregnant with her second. She's mad about it and made that clear. She was hoping to wait 2 more years. She knows all of my struggle and heartache with infertility meds, tests, needles, tears... And for some reason, she thought I'd "feel for her." Unfortunately I was more annoyed than anything. Babies are wonderful. And to openly say you don't want it... Ugh!!
