Post mc dr appt??? DNC??

I had my mc on Wednesday. Yesterday my general dr called to ask me when my follow up is scheduled. I had no idea I needed to go see an OB/GYN. I guess I figured since I was early (about 6 weeks) that there was nothing for them to check. Especially given the amount of blood. The er dr never told me I needed to schedule a possible dnc. As if this experience wasn't bad enough, I just have to keep reliving it. Did you fellow early mcers have a dnc?
