What childcare option will you use?

....just curious about what other moms are doing.

I'm a nanny so I will be bringing my daughter with. I'll be watching my daughter, a boy who was just born this week and his 2.5yo sister will be going to preschool most of the time. I'm lucky the family is so accommodating. I'll be taking at least 8 weeks off for maternity leave.

My sister in law will have baby for 4 months at her at home daycare until my spot for him opens at the daycare center where I work. So for next school year that outs me at 3 stops. School and two day cares :/ we're going to have to go to bed earlier and get up early. But only for a little bit :) I'm taking an 8 week maternity leave. If it was paid I would take longer

It depends for us. I'm home for now, and that was the plan for after Gwen was born. We are now finding that I may have some complications, and if medical bills are high, I may have to go back to work. If I do that, family and friends will probably watch her.

I am a self employeed stylist and my son goes to preschool half days then comes to work w me, my child due in July will stay w my at the shop any time im there till she is atleast 18 months old. Then we will look into daycare options

Working from home part-time. Luckily my schedule is flexible so I can work during the 3am feedings.

His mother isn't working. But he said he will take up the night shift, so I can work during the day. And he stay with his son. And we have plenty of family nearby, well, I do, to watch our baby. But I think daddy will have him most of the time. Which is going to be hard. I will be nursing.
