Remedies for back/chest pain?! Help!!

Anyone else experience very severe pain in their upper back, chest and under ribs? It almost feels like a heart attack (not that I know) and is extremely hard to breathe during these "attacks" as I call them. They sometimes last about an hour. My dr. thought it could be my gall bladder, but the ultrasound came back fine. Any rememedies or advise much appreciated because this is unbearable!!
