the start of skin cancer?

I'm fully aware there probably aren't very many doctors/nurses/medical professionale on here, but I am curious to see if anyone has ever experienced this or had something similar. I plan to seek medical advice as well but am just worried and am hoping someone on here may have some idea. I never thought much of it before until recently, but I've realized there's a weird raised spot on my arm. It's not a pimple or ingrown hair I know that for sure. It hurts like hell whenever I squeeze it too. I don't think it's necessarily gotten bigger...if so not enough that I've really noticed. Does this look like it may be the start of melanoma?
