Relationship problem

So my boyfriend of 3 years is going abroad in less than a year. He says that he won't be able to make his parents agree on our relationship because we're of different backgrounds and so our relationship basically has no future. I have tried so many times to talk to him so many times but he just stays quiet and does not say anything. Im so frustrated.

What would you do if you were in my place? Let the relationship go with the flow for as much time left? Or give up now and start seeing other people?
