PERIOD AND PLANE?!

I'm going to be on my period a day before I fly to New York and I'm worried as mine are really heavy and painful and sitting down for 7 hours isn't going to be very comfortable. I get bad pain in my ears anyway when flying and I'm all prepared but I don't know if it will be heavier or more painful due to the flying! someone help!!

It's not going to change your period, but you can change your tampon in the plane bathroom.

You could try a menstrual cup? They last longer than a tampon. Take painkillers with you, if you forget them just talk to the cabin crew, they carry medical supplies and can help you!

Mine has never changed at all when flying. I once had to fly to Australia (23 hours) whilst I was on and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be so don't worry! Just get comfy and try sit still maybe? I'm not sure if anything makes your period lighter but maybe look it up? Don't worry though I've always been fine xx
