Csection mommas... Kinda long

Jess

Ok so i had my first vaginally with an epid oct 2012.

May 2015 i got diagnosed with chiari malformation type 1.

My neurologist said a csection would be best even though i had no complications the 1st time with an epi and have had this condition all my life. I went to her at 7 weeks.

I asked her numerous times to write a letter saying so bc thats what my obgyn wanted i saw a specialist and he said it would be a greater risk having a csection. I switched obgyns and saw another specialist and he said the same thing. So here i am 32 weeks pregnant and i emailed her bc my midwife said she needed ot in writing that an epidural was ok. I get an email from her saying I NEED to have a csection. Why wouldnt she just write me the letter when i asked at 7 weeks or the 4 times after that ? I am going to her office tuesday and im not leaving without a letter . i dont need this added stress. Smh

Now im extremely stressed about it and scared bc i have to be put under as i cant have a spinal for the risk of spinal fluid leaking out .

How was the recovery and how painful was it.
