The thing about vaccination is if a majority of the population is vaccinated, it creates "community immunity". So if you live in a developed country where a large percentage of the population is vaccinated, your risk of catching the disease that vaccines are created for greatly decreases.

I wasn't vaccinated as a child, and wasn't sick.

BECAUSE OF HERD IMMUNITY. EVERY OTHER CHILD WAS PROTECTED, SO THERE NONEXISTENT ILLNESSES DIDN'T AFFECT ME. As an adult, I now work in a daycare. I was asked to receive 9 (9!) different vaccinations, to prevent any adult illnesses I may get from translating to the children I work with- or, even worse, giving them completely preventable, life-threatening diseases that WOULD kill them. VACCINATE YOUR KIDS. THERE IS NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE TO SUGGEST YOU SHOULDN'T. VACCINATE. YOUR. FUCKING. KIDS.

My mom and dad didn't believe in it so me and my sister never did get any vaccination and me and my sister are perfectly fine and never got sick.

Although I'm young I wasn't ever vaccinated for shingles and yes I did get them at age 16 and it was awful

I never got my MMR booster and I was fine. Though I already got measles years before so the first MMR obviously didn't stop my getting it 😐
