PCOS? Polycystic ovarian syndrome

Hi everyone I went to the obgyn yesterday and to my surprise he believes I have PCOS. I am going Friday on the 25th for tests. Was wondering if anyone on here has it and can you tell me your story has to how you found out. I've been researching like crazy.

I was never EVER getting my period regularly so I was sent to an endocrinologist to find out what's up. At first she thought it was my weight, but once I lost weight and nothing changed, she decided it was pcos. I started on birth control and things are normal, besides the shooting pains I get in my ovaries :(

I recently found out I have PCOS , my Gyno told me there is no cure but she did put me on birth control to regulate my period and fix my hormonal balance.
