Boyfriend?

So this guy really wants to be my boyfriend and I've hung out with him on a few occasions but he's my friends baby daddy I've talked to her about it because I feel weird about the situation but she's totally fine with it since they've been broken up since they had their baby which has been for 2 years now but should I say yes to him or just no because I don't want to be seen as that type of person
