FYI for anyone pregnant and having trouble quitting smoking 🚬🚬

So I'm a smoker.... I have smoker thru both my prior pregnancies and I struggled so much. It's NO EXSCUSE however just a better understanding I wasn't in a good healthy relationship and cigarettes helped me cope and it was so hard to stop. I vowed this pregnancy I would quit and I have. But I wanted to share some info I just found out.. I have been buying nicoderm patches now for about a month and they are quite pricey. Saw my dr yesterday and was telling him how I quit smoking and he said ok let me give you a script for the patches, most insurances cover them while pregnant. (99%) too add i live in CONNECTICUT and I have state/medicaid insurance. So I just want to share if you find you can't quit yourself talk to your dr because chances are your insurance will cover the patches to help thru. And the dr has me going down on nicotine levels every refill so hopefully soon I'll be patch free. Just sharing some info.
