Protein/Meal replacement shakes?

Hey, I need some help. I'm doing a beachbody workout, but I can't afford the Shakeology that they want you to buy and drink. I'm needing something that will work as well, but won't cost me $90+ a month to do. I'm really wanting to get in better shape, to feel better, and for when my husband and I become ttc in a few months. I would really appreciate help on this! Please and thank you!

I had gastric bypass and had to do protein shakes as meals. I found some really good flavored powders made by Matrix. I ordered the big bags for about $30 on Amazon which lasted several months. You can get single servings to try from a website called my bariatric pantry.

Protein shakes is just processed-over priced diary. Liquids come out as waste and you'd be buying ALOT of processed dairy. Meal replacements are NOT part of a meal plan unless you NEED it to SUPPLMENT ONLY your nutritional needs. That's why they are "supplements". You will get more your money's worth if look for other protein sources such as Lentils, Beans, Spinach, Tuna, etc... Also if you need the protein supplement for higher effectiveness have some type of solids with the liquid. As my background I was a fat ass, fighter, reverse diabetes... Your body is does not work like the beach body people. Learn yourself but don't waste your money eat food not processed dairy

I use herbal life but that will cost the same really depending cuz I get my shakes off eBay and I pay for the meal replacement and protein it's like 60-65 tbh without the shake and ur eating heathy you could still get the beach bod just gotta be dedicated to the gym too!

I've tried the Jym brand, I'm not sure how much it is but its like a 5 lb jug of powder lol. They have one that tastes like cookies! Right now my husband and I are doing a modified slimfast thing. They have premade shakes as well as powders that taste pretty good and are MUCH cheaper than shakeology. I do a premade shake for breakfast, a normal shake for lunch, and then anything i want for dinner. If im super hungry at lunch I'll eat a couple eggs or an apple with peanut butter along with my shake. We just started week 4 and ive lost 4 lbs, hubby lost maybe 6. Just don't get the cappuccino flavored premade shakes because your pee will smell for days!!

You can get some great shakes from GNC that are WAYYY cheaper than shakeology and most of the time just as good if not better. I was a coach I couldn't do the shakeo just because of the taste and horrible grit so I'd get shake powder from GNC for like $25/month.
