bleeding after sex?

hi, my boyfriend and i have been having sex for a while now (about two years) but recently in the past couple of months I've noticed that I've had light bleeding after sex and I don't know why. I am on the pill and we lubricate using saliva; i experience slight (very slight) pain when he initially goes in but after that it's totally great and comfortable. any ideas or suggestions on what I should do?
