Step kid

I know this is going to sound ridiculously petty , but hear me out before you think I'm a total dick.

When I met my husband 5 years ago he told me he had a son which was fine , I've been in his sons life since he was 6 months old , we've always got on and it's been great

However recently things have changed , since having our own children we only see Ben 3 or 4 times a week due to hubs ex being abit difficult to deal with .

But my problem isn't that it's I genuinely can't even be bothered to deal with Ben when he's here , he's naughty and tells me he doesn't like me regularly , he beats on his sister (3 years) , pushes I've his brother (1 years ) if I tell him off my hubby tells me I'm the problem and Ben should have the run of the home when he's here because he's the most important..

So am I being a dick by saying I don't want the kid in my home until he learns to respect me and an equal to his dad (who sleeps until 20 mins before his ex comes to pick Ben up and claimed he's done everything with him )

Urrgh I need a break
