Belly button piercing aftercare questions?

I got my belly button pierced March 18th. The piercer told me how to clean it and stuff like that. I was wondering what  I should and shouldn't do? How it should look like a couple days after? How sore and red it should be? Should I be able to feel the bar through the skin if I lightly touch it? Any other advice would be great!

I can feel the bar through my skin. I just got mine two days ago and whenever I bend or twist or run, I can tell it's still sore. It's still a little bit red but not that much.

Yours looks pretty good.  And I can feel my bar, so I think it's normal. I cleaned mine with H2 Ocean for the healing period, and I still clean it with water every day in the shower  I've had mine going on four years now. Mines didn't swell up much, so I can't remember what it looked like right after. And my advice is going to be basic stuff, like wear loose clothing, don't have anything snag or pull it. Stay out of lakes or beaches until it's fully healed, if it looks strange, go see your piercer. Don't change the ring until it is completely healed. I think that's all I got.
