So to try and make a long story short me and my husband have been trying for quite some time to conceive and have had 6 miscarriages and are currently pregnant again. I was going through some papers and one wasn't opened and it was his lead level test (he works with lead paint in a union) and it had a booklet with it about the effects of lead levels and the bottom 2 said that even low levels can cause damage to an unborn child and increase chances of miscarriage. Well needless to say we decided for him to take the year off so we could buy out on our house, and this is the first time we have been pregnant since there has been no issues with lead levels!! We both have a good feeling this time around, I just never thought to make that connection and I wonder if that's what our problem has been? Just wanted to share because I would of never thought of it until I saw those papers :) hopefully this baby is our lucky one!
