Split from babies dad..... Advice

Long story short... We loved each other the baby was planned. Anyway he left me and met someone.. I'm not a jealous and I'm glad he is happy but what really gets me is how he can say he won't be waiting in the waiting room when I go into labour and he plans on coming to see the baby when he is around 2 months old. I'm pissed off because before he met this woman (who has 4 kids so she should know what I'm going through) he promised he would be there.. But he is treating this like a one night stand mistake.. Is there anything I can do to stop him just walking into his life when he feels like it? Maybe no contact will make him see sense.. I just feel bad for my son to be.. I also live 300 miles away from my mum so will be giving birth alone.. Guess I'm just scared.
