Impending labor?

Question

I have read that flu like symptoms can happen a day or 2 before labor to start cleansing your body to prepare for baby. I understand everyone is different so I was wondering how many women this actually happens too? Last night I was feeling pretty ill, upset stomach, nausea, vomiting & diarrhea.  Also feeling very tired & not quite myself today. Share your experience!

I had flu like symptoms 1 week before I went into labour, I went for my 39 week check with the midwife and felt very flushed and tired. After checking my blood pressure she said it was slightly high so sent me to hospital to get monitored. All was ok then after being home for 2hours my waters broke! (With a gush too 🙈) we went back to the hospital but my contractions hadn't started so I went home and managed to get 4 hours sleep, then I had severe diarrhea and the contractions started.... 10hours later she arrived 😊 and bum first!!! 😵 try and get as much sleep as you can and eat healthy
