Nursery on budget???

How did you organize your nursery on a budget? I'm starting to gather so much stuff and having it everywhere in the nursery room is driving me absolutely nuts! I need to do some organization.

Stackable storage bins with drawers & vaccuum sealer bags (those things you can stuff with clothes & suck them down flat for storage).

Keep your stackable storage bins with drawers in the closet. Keep things like baby towels & wash cloths in there, socks, clothes baby hasn't grown into yet (separated by size), a headband and hair bow drawer if you're having a girl, shoe drawer.

Keep all the clothes baby has outgrown stored in the vaccuum bags so you can re-home them when you find someone else having a baby.

Put the stacking drawers on one side of the closet, on the other, leave it open for big items like walkers/bouncers/strollers etc. Perhaps add an extra shelf in there. You can also get an under crib drawer, you can find them online if your SO isn't too keen on building one for you.

My husband and I live in a 1br apt. The apts turned the balcony into part of the inside of the apt so it's like a little room. We are turning it into her nursery. I started working on it this weekend and still have lots to do! But it's looking cute. I have a rocking chair in there too I just didnt get a picture. We have a huge walk in closet and using part of it for her as well and also putting a crib in our room.

We live in a 2bdrm apartment and I'm also in college so we had a very tight budget 😳 We purchased most of our stuff from a Sears outlet and Walmart, kept an eye on sale items and built things ourselves! That and we used things that we already had for the nursery (ie. He had a white desk from before so we strapped on a changing pad and now it's a wonderful change table!) we spent a total of $1000 including the travel system, bottle sterilizer, Breast pump and other essential items outside of the nursery 😌

We are in a 2 bedroom house. We have the bigger room and our son has a medium sized room if not slightly smaller but not small. The baby will be in with us for the first 6 months but her wardrobe will go in my sons room next to his whilst her cot is in our bedroom. All baby things are in the cot right now apart from wardrobe and first size clothes. The jumperoo and either swing or bouncer will be in the living room next to the sofa in a gap so it is neatly tucked away (they have already been built) and either the swing or bouncer will be in our bedroom tucked away next to the cot

IKEA and Target sales. Also, Craigslist! We got a cubby unit and put it in the closet, and several hanging shelves (the fabric ones) from both ikea and Target. Also got dresser drawer organizers from ikea. So far so good!

Unfortunately my boyfriend and I won't be moved into our new place until after the baby is here so I think we might just make one of the closets into a baby nook versus having an entire room to fill out. That alone is going to save us a ton of money!
