Gender ?

So I know I am only 12 weeks . But me and my husband have been talking about if we want to know the gender right there in the ultrasound room . Or if we want to do a gender reveal to find out the gender . As it gets closer I'm getting more excited to find out what we are having. 'What did or are you other Expecting mommies doing about finding out the gender ?

My husband can't get out of work in time to get to the gender ultrasound we have booked for Friday, so the tech said she can put the ultrasound on a cd for us to watch later that night when he gets home! I'll just look away when she does the crotch shot and she'll write "boy" or "girl" on the screen to confirm! We're considering inviting our families over so we can all watch it together!

I was just having this thought today. I would Love to have a Gender reveal but I'm also super inpatient. And mayb want it to be private for my so and me.

We both found out during thr ultrasound with our first, plan to do thr same with baby 2. My husband doesnt want other people to know before him!

We may have a gender reveal party a few days after our ultrasound to announce to family and friends. But I am for sure finding out at the ultrasound only because I am super impatient and I'd like to have my reaction seen by only my SO not in front of everyone lol my SO isn't sure he wants to find out at the ultrasound so if he decides not too I'll have them write it down and I'll just look later by myself. I think he's going to want to find out with me though.
