39 week induction

Let me tell you the situation. Through out my entire pregnancy I've struggled with my bipolar disorder and anxiety. I have medication for both but didn't want to expose my baby to those medications. I've been having episodes of anger and sadness (more so than usual over the last few weeks) and I've been having anxiety attacks almost every day. I mentioned this to my doctor today and he said he wished that he could induce me now so I could get back on my medication, but he can't induce without my life at risk or my babies... He said he could induce at 39 weeks but I'm not sure if that's a good enough reason to induce 😥😐

(He's already mentioned that he's worried that I'll develop postpartum depression because of how severe my bipolar is, that's why he wants me back on my meds as soon as I have my daughter)
