Nurse was negative about birth plan..
I really want a birth plan, but my nurse was really negative about it & said all birth plans end in C-Sections but "whatever floats my boat"..😔 I didn't have much in my plan. Here is what I included....
-Partner will hold baby before I do (family tradition)
-Please inform me of all medications given to my baby before-hand
-Epidural
-Father of baby and my mother in delivery room
-My mother will take photos of birthing
-Do not allow me to hold baby if I am shaken from epidural (mother had a bad experience with me, she was shaking so bad she almost dropped me)
I'm just so upset that the nurse and Doctor didn't want me having a birth plan. I didn't ask for much. They even both read in infront of me and reviewed it, so it's not even the fact that they think it's too much! in my opinion it's so simple and not much at all...
