Getting induce question... Please help!

So my doctor told me today that I have the option of getting induced this Friday. Which will put me at exactly 40 weeks. (I thought I was 40weeks tomorrow... Well i am not) anyways... I am 0 dilated and baby is still high. This is my second pregnancy. First was vaginal normal. How many are you ladies gone thru induction at 0dilation and baby still high, and we're still able to go vaginal?
