Me and my ex are due a baby in 2 months.  My new girlfriend really wants to be with me at the birth but my ex girlfriend demands no and says she will only accept my mum being there with me! if I turned up with my new girlfriend could my ex get her sent away?

What kind of extra support is she going to give you that your mom isn't? At least it's her grandchild, no offence but you can't guarantee how long your new relationship is going to last and it's completely selfish of you to think you can just turn up with her and expect her to be allowed to stop.

This is a big moment for your ex and you being there with your new gf will only add extra stress to her labour. I'm pretty sure if the tables were turned with your new gf she would feel exactly the same as your ex.

Your new gf can be there for you after you've been there for your new child's mother.

I agree with your ex. Your gf can wait for you in the waiting room and meet the baby with you soon afterwards. If she is giving birth she gets to choose who is in the room, apart from any emotional reasons it's her privacy and dignity too.

I think she shouldn't go with you. Your ex is having a baby she doesn't need all that drama around her and it'll probably make her uncomfortable if she goes. I think she can ask the nurses to not let her inside the room.
