Grieving Sex?

This isn't the first time this has happened  to me, but today my guy friend that I have been pursuing for a while was wanting to have sex after something horrible happened. His friend recently passed and he said he wanted to "feel good again" so he decided sex is the way to go...why do guys want grieving sex? Or is this just me finding strange guys?? Lol please help!
