Miscarriage?

Ok this post is gonna be a little blunt. I am about 7 weeks. I just want to know what a MC looks like, what the symptoms are and what to expect. I am always cramping and hurting and I do not wanna think negative. I just want to know what it looks like? Pain? Sorry if this offends somebody. I just am expecting the worst. It took me forever to get pregnant and I want to know what signs to looks for. TIA.

I had no symptoms. I went to my 12 wk US and there was no heartbeat. They said the baby measured out at 10wks. That was in December. I am now 6wks pregnant and very hopeful.

I mc last may. First my hcg levels were not good so they had me go in for an ultrasound, they found a heartbeat, so dr said he wasn't worried. Then the next week I started spotting brown everyone said that it was normal, so I figured I call mon, but sun I wiped and there was pink. Then it stopped. I still called mon the office acted like I was crazy, ended up in er, and they confirmed no heartbeat. It took till the next Sat to pass everything and I didn't bleed heavy till sat. This is my rainbow but I'm petrified, just had second hcg done and I'm nervous as hell!

I had a mmc last year. I had some light spotting,  ranging from brownish to red and mild period type cramps around the time I now know the baby died. Those symptoms stopped and my pregnancy symptoms carried on.  I didn't know I had miscarried until almost 11 weeks when I went for a scan. There are a lot of symptoms that can be related to mc but that can also be found in healthy pregnancies. If you have symptoms that concern you, the best thing to do is speak to your doctor. I'm going to be graphic here, so if you're squeamish, don't read. I had a 10w2d m/c. It started with light pink spotting when I wiped. By the next day, the spotting had tiny bits of dark tissue in it. The tissue was like the size of a pen tip. I then had an u/s and confirmed that the heart had stopped beating. Since the u/s was internal, it caused me to start bleeding more. The doctor gave me the option to have a d&c, take a medication to m/c faster or just to let things happen naturally. I chose to let it happen naturally. I cramped for about 2 days and on the 3rd day it got really bad, like labor pains. I was walking and felt a fist sized clot slide out into my underwear and that's when I knew it was over. I bled for about 2 weeks afterwards.

I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. Scan showed baby had died at 7 weeks and 6 days. I had no symptoms, no cramps, no pain, just very light pink bleeding on week 12. Had my scan and was sent home to think about options (surgical - under general or local anaesthetic, medical or natural)
That night I awoke in pain and this pain got worse and worse, they were labour pains, the ones you don't forget! 4 hours and I passed pretty much everything. I was also booked in for a procedure under local  (big mistake) to ensure I had passed absolutely everything. Horrible experience. I'm currently expecting my rainbow baby and scared!

My miscarriage--I suddenly didn't feel pregnant and symptoms went away. Woke up bleeding bright red no cramping, as the day progressed cramping and severe lower back pain and clots and bright red bleeding. I passed the baby same day. Continued cramping and back pain until it was all over. It was pretty painful but more so emotionally. So really my only symptom in advance was losing pregnancy symptoms and not feeling pregnant anymore.

These ladies are explaining about their period like cramps for miscarriage but accompanied by the bleeding. It's important to know that period like cramps are super common in early pregnancy I had them for weeks and was reassured 3 times by 3 doctors that this is really really common especially with your first pregnancy. But even still- I'm still terrified of miscarriage as well. I try not to stress- I know it's not good. Each day, I get a little more positive :)

Hey do not panic stress is not good for baby or mama. I had some cramps and spotting the first 
20 weeks with my first baby it turned out the placenta did not attach correctly but it's want a big deal my baby is 16 months old and no health issues

Hi Marcela - I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks with my last baby. I started spotting about 1.5 weeks before it happened - very light like brown spotting. I had cramps from the beginning of the pregnancy and throughout my miscarriage. The day my miscarriage happened there was a lot of bright red blood and I know I saw the fetus when it came out :-( sorry if that's tmi but that's what it looks like. Pain wasn't terrible but a lot of cramping. The doctors say not to worry much unless you have bright red blood. And make sure you get your levels checked. I had a MC in December and I was awoken by period like cramps and when I went to the bathroom there was a lot of blood. I bled for probably 4 days.
