Nipple chances (possible tmi)

So my nipples have become seemingly rougher and no longer soft since I've been pregnant with my second. My husband notices a change and it bugs me. I don't remember it being this way with my first. To be honest I've been avoiding anything touching them as much as possible the past few weeks because they are sooooooo sensitive and they hurt. Do I need to exfoliate them a little or something 😖 or is it just something that should resolve on its own?
